Fans of both football and golf are being encouraged to get into a combination of the two – Footgolf.

Combining the best aspects of football and golf, the intent is to kick a football into a hole with the foot, in the least amount of strokes possible and the game is played on a golf course.

Flexibility is the key to the sport, and the distance between the tee and the hole is adaptable based on the playing area.

FootGolf is an inventive, fresh and highly addictive sport, strategically combining power and precision to achieve the goal and is the UKs fastest growing new sport and in the last 12 months it has seen an 8 fold increase in participation.

Speaking about bringing Footgolf to Kent, Regional Development Manager, Richard Brown, explained he wants to get more people taking part in the new sport:
