With the 2024 season nearly upon us, Kent Cricket have revealed the design of Kent Spitfires’ Metro Bank One Day Cup shirt for this Summer in partnership with its Official Kit Supplier, Castore.
“One Club, to be called Kent County Cricket Club.” These were the words resolved on 6 December 1870 at the Bull Inn Hotel in Rochester, when Kent Cricket as we know it today was formed.
154 years later, we’re as proud as ever to represent the Garden of England. For the 2024 season, the topography of our home, from Deptford to Dover, forms the basis of our Metro Bank One Day Cup shirt under our Kent Spitfires moniker.
The shirt, sponsored by our Elite Partners, WW Martin Ltd., features the iconic Sky Blue colourway of Kent one-day playing kits going all the way back to 1993, with White Cliffs & Cherry Red as accent colouring.
Our 2024 Metro Bank One Day Cup shirt is available to buy now at the Kent Cricket Shop at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury, and soon online via the revamped Kent Cricket Online Shop, developed by Mickle Creative, which will be launched very soon.
Once the site is live, Kent Members will receive a 10% discount on all online purchases upon checkout by logging in using their existing Membership & Ticketing username and password.
Kent Cricket’s Retail Manager, Barrie Dyer, said: “Castore have completely fit our brief to create a bespoke sublimated playing shirt in the iconic Kent one-day playing colourway for this Summer.
“The players have all said how much they like this new kit and it’s a high-quality product – we hope that this will be one of our best-selling shirts!”
Tickets to Kent Spitfires’ home matches in the Metro Bank One Day Cup this August, across both The Spitfire Ground & The County Ground, Beckenham, are on sale now here. Tickets for Under 14s are just £1!
Kent Spitfires’ Vitality Blast T20 playing shirts & County Championship kits will be unchanged for this season.
