Kent Cricket is joining forces with south east London NHS services to offer the COVID vaccination today at The County Ground, Beckenham, Bromley.
Open from 14:00-18:00, the cricket ground vaccination clinic is available to anyone over the age of 16. You can just walk in or book an appointment on 020 8175 0473.
As an added incentive, there are £5 Deliveroo vouchers up for grabs to the first 100 who are vaccinated. There will also be a prize draw for a Kent Cricket signed cricket bat.
Kent Cricket’s Head of Talent Pathway and former Kent and England cricketer, Min Patel, said: “It’s fantastic that Kent Cricket is able to play a part in helping people getting vaccinated against COVID.
“Hopefully as many people as possible take up this opportunity and get themselves jabbed.
“Our thanks also to the Rotary Beckenham volunteers who have been helping us promote the event and supporting on the day.”
Dr Alka Sharma, GP and Clinical Director for the network of GP services supporting this Covid vaccination clinic said, “We are delighted to be working with Kent Cricket in Beckenham to offer a local and convenient venue to get the COVID vaccine.
“The vaccine is the best way to protect you and your loved ones from the often devastating effects of this virus, and offers more protection against severe illness and hospitalisation.
“We are offering first vaccines to 16 and 17 year olds, and first or second vaccines to 18s and over who have waited at least 8 weeks since their first dose.
“Our clinical team are more than happy to answer questions about the vaccine.
“This is one in a number of pop up vaccination clinics made available across Bromley over the last few months in an effort to reach as many people as possible”.
