Kent will take on the touring Sri Lankan side at Canterbury for a 50 overs per side floodlit game next May.

The ECB today announced the full itinerary including tour matches for Sri Lanka’s tour of England next summer with Kent picking up one of the tourists’ games before the main series against England.

Kent will face the Sri Lankans at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence for the 50 over game on Friday 16th May.

It comes on the back of facing New Zealand at Canterbury for a T20 game earlier this summer and matches against South Africa and India in recent years.

Sri Lanka’s final tour match will be a four-day game against Northamptonshire in preparation for the two-match Investec Test series against England which will take place in June.
