Durham County Cricket Club have confirmed that paceman Mitchell Claydon has been loaned to Kent County Cricket Club.
The Australian born 30-year old will be on loan at Kent until the 10th July with Jimmy Adams’ side given the option to extend the loan beyond that date.
Claydon, who has been with Durham since 2007, will join ex-Durham teammates Ben Harmison and Mark Davies who have also made the transition from Durham to Kent.
The seamer has been drafted into the Kent squad with Davies still struggling with an injury and is expected to make his debut against Glamorgan in the County Championship starting at Canterbury on Wednesday.
