Kent have learnt their fate for the two cup competitions next season with a change in formats across both limited overs games.Kent Spitfires

The revised One Day game will be played across 50 overs per side instead of this season’s 40 over competition with Kent placed in Group B alongside eight other teams.

The 18 first-class counties were randomly drawn into two groups of nine, in which they will play each opponent once with four games at home and four away.

The top four from each group will enter quarter-finals ahead of semi-finals and a final.

Kent have been drawn in Group B of the 2014 YB50 with – Glamorgan, Middlesex, Notts, Warks, Surrey, Somerset, Durham, Sussex.

The Spitfires have also learnt the eight sides they will face in next year’s revised T20 competition with the sides set to face each other eight times home and away.

Like this season, Kent have been paired against Essex, Hampshire, Middlesex, Surrey and Sussex, but for 2014 they will also face Glamorgan, Gloucestershire and Somerset.

As yet, no confirmed dates have been announced for any of the fixtures, with the full schedule expected to be unveiled some time before the New Year.
