Vitality Blast action returns to Canterbury this Summer, with all of Kent Spitfires’ home matches to be played at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence in the City.
The Spitfires kick-off their home Vitality Blast matches in 2020 on Friday 29th May with the resumption of the oldest rivalry in the history of world cricket against Surrey – a fixtures that can be traced as far back as 1709. To this day, this fierce rivalry clash draws sell-out crowds at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence.
The Spitfires will also contest ‘The Battle of The Bridge’ against their noisy neighbours, the Essex Eagles, on Sunday 21st June as well as facing South Coast rivals Sussex Sharks that Friday night.
Last season saw three sell-out home matches in the tournament at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence and a partisan home atmosphere in every home match the Spitfires contested.
