Kent Exiles American Football Club host their first home game of the new BAFL Premier Division season on Sunday afternoon when they entertain London Blitz at Beaverwood Sports Club in Chislehurst, kick off 2.30pm.
The Exiles were promoted to the top flight of British American football last season and made it all the way to Britbowl, before losing the final 36-29 to Leicester Falcons at John Charles Stadium in Leeds back in September 2018.
So far this campaign The Exiles have played twice on the road, losing their first game to local rivals London Olympians 33-23 before winning away at Bristol Aztecs 9-0 last weekend.
Formed in 1990 the club now numbers over three-hundred members across its different sections. With a senior adult side, women’s team, two youth teams and kids section. Their progress in recent years has been remarkable, making history every season as they progress and expand.
Entry is free for the game and there are bar and food facilities available along with a merchandise stand, music and game commentary to compliment the top flight Gridiron action on display.
