Two branch managers from Wards Estate Agents are taking on a 24-hour darts challenge to raise funds for Kent-based children’s charity Tree of Hope.

Paul Jordan, who lives in Herne Bay and is branch manager at Herne Bay and Graham Goodsell, who lives in Gillingham and is branch manager at Faversham, will be taking on the 24-hour challenge starting at 8pm on Friday.
Paul said: ‘We are proud to be supporting Tree of Hope again this year and we wanted to think of something a little different as a fundraising event. People are welcome to drop in to support us, have some tea or coffee and cake or play a match with us.’
Paul goes by the darts name ‘Sonic’ and Graham, who plays in a Medway darts team, ‘Wonderhorse’.
Wards Estate Agents have been a charity partner of Tree of Hope for since 2024 with recent events including a successful fun day held at more than 20 branches in March this year which raised around £10,000.

Each year Wards choose a charity partner for their agents to get behind and raise vital funds for. Over the years they have raised over £16 million in support of local and national charities including The Children’s Trust, ellenor, Barnardo’s, Macmillan Cancer Support, Action Medical Research and more.

Tree of Hope, which helps families raise money for children and young people like Hannah for medical treatments and healthcare services not freely available to them through the NHS and social care. The charity provides fundraising guidance, campaign development, financial management, charity registration and emotional support from the Family Support team. Families like Hannah’s benefit from gift aid, corporate support while also providing donor reassurance.
The event will take place at Wards Estate Agent Herne Bay, 119 High Street.
