Fast bowler Robbie Joseph has returned to Kent, the club where he spent six years as a player before being released in 2011.
KSN believe that 32-year-old Joseph has been signed on a month-to-month contract basis, although this is yet to have been confirmed by the club.
The Antigua-born right-arm fast bowler made his debut for Kent at the end of the 2005 season, and took 144 First Class wickets for the county at an average of 31.25 before being released at the end of the 2011 season. He also took 47 wickets in limited overs cricket during his previous spell at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.
Joseph spent the 2012 season at Leicestershire, taking the best figures by a debutant during his time at Grace Road, but was released at the end of the campaign. He returned to Kent and was coaching Horsmonden in the Kent Village Cricket League last year.
His performances for Kent in the 2008 season saw him called up to the England Performance Squad, and also gave him an opportunity to play with the England Lions.
He is currently playing for Kent in their game against Loughborough MCCU at Canterbury, and took 2-56 from 19 overs yesterday as Kent bowled their opponents out for 271.
