Jacob Kelso won this year’s Kent Junior Golf Championship in emphatic fashion at Chart Hills Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Kings Hill Golf Club member recorded a two-round 10-under-par total of 134 to finish six shots clear of his nearest rival, Richard Cheetham from Chart Hills.
Another member of the host club, Cameron Lombard, finished in third place on 143.
The Kent Junior Handicap Championship, held at Chart Hills on the same day, was won by West Kent Golf Club’s Luke Jenkins who scored 43 points off his 17 handicap.
Runner-up was Miles Gray (h11) from Etchinghill Golf Club with 41, and third Matthew Darbinson (h19) from Chart Hills with 39.
