Kent Under-18 golf captain Jacob Kelso has been selected to play for England for the first time in the Boys’ Home Internationals at Ashburnham GC in Wales from August 6-9.

Eighteen-year-old Jacob, a member of Kings Hill GC at West Malling, has earned his selection after a superb season which has seen him finish third in the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters, 10^th at the Fairhaven Trophy and 11^th at the German Boys’ Championship.

Jacob “tweeted” after his call-up: “Honoured and incredibly excited to have been selected for the Home Internationals, should be a great week!”
