During the season the KDFL are holding a few Cup events for various divisions and on Sunday 22nd January they held a World Cup event for both the under 11’s and under 13’s.

In November the coaches of the teams pulled various countries out of a hat and they asked the players and spectators to get involved in making the morning a fun event.

They did not expect teams to go out and buy replica shirts but to make them. The teams taking part where:

The morning was full of fun and excitement as the teams took to the pitch to take part in a league format tournament.

There were plenty of goals and sometimes some outstanding game play from both divisions. All players that took part got a medal, Gold for the overall winners and Bronze for the others.

A photo opportunity followed with a replica FA Cup. Their sponsors for the day were The Burger Babes whom provide all the refreshments for both their adult and junior sections.

The winners in the Under 11’s where Belgium and for the under 13’s it was Equador.
