The key turned and the engine started first time on Wednesday when the new partnership between Kent Cricket Board Ltd and Kendall Cars Ltd began.
The partnership will see KCB having the use of FREE Van Hire for 15 days during 2013. The agreement was reached with Kendall Cars Ltd towards the end of last season when it became clear that the KCB team needed much bigger cars to transport equipment to and from competition venues.
Andy Griffiths, Cricket Development Manager, commented “We made the enquiry to Kendall Cars Ltd last season. They made a few internal queries, asked me a few questions around what they would receive in return and the deal was struck within a few days. Kendall Cars Ltd now support our Competitions throughout the County and have several advert banners linked to the competitions they are supporting. They have been really accommodating and we used one of their vehicles on Wednesday 23rd January to deliver a load of Chance to Shine cricket equipment to our Met based projects”
