Buckmore Karts

Formula Kart Stars is a British based Karting Championship supported by Bernie Ecclestone, current triple Formula 1 World Champion and FKS ‘Old Boy’ Lewis Hamilton and affiliations with many of the F1 teams.

Formula Kart Stars boasts a large number of ex-drivers who have gone on to enjoy many successful years competing at the very pinnacle of motorsport, clearly indicating that FKS is ‘The Road to Formula 1 through racing and education’.

John Surtees, former F1 World champion and Buckmore Park Circuit owner commented “junior motorsport needs all the help it can get and the fact that FKS has the support of Bernie Ecclestone and affiliations with F1 makes it natural for it to come to the circuit that helped develop world champions including Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.”

Lewis Hamilton, FKS Old Boy said “I wouldn‘t be here without this Championship. Karting is where I learnt all my skills; it’s really where I built my foundation to enable me to drive the way I do today.”

The event will be covered by Sky Sports F1 and on the day there will be access to prime viewing areas for spectators with both the grandstands and clubhouse to choose from, as well as the opportunity to grab a bite to eat supplied by the in-house caterers PitStop Catering.

Spectators are welcome and tickets for this event are provided by Buckmore Park completely free of charge for an exciting day out to watch world class racers.
