Justice is done for Vetokele
It was announced on Tuesday afternoon‎ that the EFL dubious goals committee had awarded Charlton’s fifth goal at Stevenage to Igor Vetokele.

The goal was originally credited to George Lapslie, who went on to score the last goal of the night.
It was surprising that the goal was given to Lapslie on the night; from behind the goal, Vetokele appeared to divert Lapelie’s shot in.
Vetokele always believed the goal was his, and said this after the game:
“Yes I got two goals. Brett (first team analyst) can confirm it that I got two. I’m happy with the win and I’m pleased with the way that we played.
“We continued in the second half, after scoring three in the first half, and we had a lot of young players in the team as well. It was a good performance overall‎.”
The Addicks have one more game to play in the group stage of the Checkatrade Trophy – at home to Swansea Under-21 – and look set to top the table.
That would give Lee Bowyer’s side a home tie against the runners-up in one of the seven other  Southern groups in the second round.
After a week off due to the international break, Charlton face two home games in three days. First, high flying Barnsley will visit The Valley on Saturday, followed by Karl Robinson’s Oxford on Tuesday.
Bowyer will be looking to maximise the opportunity to close the gap on the leaders.
