If you haven’t got BT Sport and want to watch The Gills on Monday night, KSN could have the answer for you!
When news came out that Gillingham’s FA Cup (in association with Budweiser) First Round replay away to Brackley Town was going to be shown on the new BT Sports channel, many Gills fans faced the prospect of missing out of seeing their heroes on TV.
With the Gills only receiving 500 tickets for the tie on Monday evening many were “looking forward” to watching social media feeds for the night to see if Peter Taylor’s can as we all hope progress into Round Two.
But that need not now be the case as in association with the Star Meadow Sports Club in Gillingham, we invite you to join KSN cheering the Gills on down the Road to Wembley – with the next stop hopefully being Macclesfield.
The Star Meadow Sports Club is of course home to Kent Invicta League table toppers Hollands and Blair, and ground manager Wayne Peirce told us, “We’re delighted to help KSN (hopefully) cheer the Gills into the next round.”
“We’re a club that’s open to the public every day – a fact that isn’t that well known around here, and when KSN approached us to help them “stage” the evening, we were only too happy to say yes and hopefully we’ll see some new faces that will come back and see us again.”
Doors open at 6:30 – with kick off at 7:45 – and there will be a raffle and a collection held during the evening with all proceeds going to the 2013 BBC Children In Need Appeal
