Jewiss joins MSA Academy

Kiern Jewiss has been selected to join the MSA Academy, a group of drivers aged 14 to 24 who have demonstrated potential excellence in motorsport.

After a stellar karting career that saw no less than five British titles, being crowned 2017 Ginetta Junior Rookie Champion and securing two trips onto the podium on his debut British F4 weekend, it comes as no surprise that the MSA has inducted Kiern into their Academy squad.

Kiern feels privileged to be joining the Academy and is proud to have his name represent the organisation.

“I’m extremely proud to be chosen to join the MSA Academy. It feels great to see the work I’ve put in over the recent years be recognised by this fantastic organisation. The MSA is a cornerstone of British Motorsport and to have my name representing them is a huge honour. I can’t wait to work alongside them over the year ahead.”

The MSA Academy is a talent development pathway that equips the UK’s most promising young drivers with the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to maximise their performance. The MSA Academy uses qualified coaches and support personnel to provide free and informed guidance to help young drivers unlock their full potential as athletes.

Barry Mears, Head of the MBP Academy, believes Kiern deserves the recognition and has no doubt the MSA can help Kiern develop further.

“The MSA is a brilliant organisation which has helped develop a number of drivers reach their full potential. The coaches and staff are excellent at what they do and I’m sure Kiern will benefit from their experience greatly. It’s fantastic to see Kiern be recognised by the team at MSA and we all hope for a long and successful partnership together to help Kiern fulfil his potential.”
