Kiern Jewiss will continue his debut season in the British F4 Championship this weekend as the series rolls into the high-speed Thruxton Circuit for the third outing of the 2018 campaign.
Getting his maiden F4 season off to a blistering start withone win and four podiums from the first six races of the 2018 season, Kiern sits in 2nd place in the Drivers’ Championship as the series heads into Thruxton.
Kiern’s last race weekend was one to remember. After dominating practice, by finishing the two sessions on top of the timesheets, Kiern then experienced a difficult qualifying as he suffered a broken front anti-roll bar that left him way off the pace. A wet race one ended in a DNF after he was struck by another driver – with the perpetrator picking up penalty points.
Kiern then had to start the second race from the back of the grid and he stormed through the field to collect his first win in the British F4 Championship! Kiern then drove through the grid one again in the final race to go from 10th place up to 3rd to round off a sensational weekend.
