Reigning FIA British Formula 4 champion Kiern has had a mixed start to his 2019 campaign. While his pace has been strong enough to be battling at the top, and his excellent race-craft has been evident, a series of unfortunate incidents have meant that Kiern’s results have not replicated his performances. Nonetheless, the FM Conway-sponsored driver is ready to come back strong at Donington.
Facing the BRDC Super Star this weekend is the 2.5-mile circuit, which will mark the first out of two trips to Donington Park this year. Kiern is no stranger to success at Donington – it’s the track where he scored his first single-seater victory in British F4 last year. He went on to make another trip to the rostrum in race three too – making the circuit a firm favourite for the Morgan Bros-sponsored driver.
Qualifying will begin at 11:20 on Saturday, with the first race to follow at 14:35 that afternoon. On Sunday, race two is at 10:35 before race three gets underway at 16:00. All of Sunday’s action will be streamed live via the British F3 website. |
