The FM Conway-sponsored youngster has been in inspired form since moving into the British F4 Championship this season and heads to Snetterton this weekend with a 57 point lead in the Drivers’ Standings.

At the halfway stage in the season, Kiern has only missed out on the podium three times in the first fifteen races of the season, securing an outstanding five wins, four fastest laps and two poles. Taking the championship lead after Oulton Park, Kiern has continued his strong form with his last six races all ending on the podium steps and twice as the victor.

“The start of the season has been fantastic but at the end of the day, we are only halfway there. 57 points isn’t enough to start thinking about winning the championship so we need to take it one race at a time and not take our foot off the gas. I can’t thank Double R Racing enough for all their hard work through the first half of the year, we are all high on confidence and motivated to keep the form going.”

The Snetterton 300 Circuit is a 12-turn, 2.969 mile track in Norfolk that Kiern is already familiar with after taking pole position in Ginetta Juniors in 2017 and topping the timesheets in British F4 testing last week.

“Snetterton is a track I have good memories of after taking my maiden pole in Ginettas there last year but, unfortunately, I couldn’t convert it into a win so I’ll be pushing hard to set that right this weekend. We were strong at Snett in testing and I think we can bring that pace into the race weekend and push towards more wins and extend the championship, both for myself and the team.”
