Folkestone Invicta welcome Charlton Atheltic to The Fullicks Stadium for their first round Kent Senior Cup match tonight.
The game had been re-arranged for this evening with a 7.45pm kick-off after the tie was originally due to take place on Tuesday September 3rd, but Folkestone’s FA Cup replay at Moslesey took preference.
In turn, the re-arranged county knockout game takes the place of the scheduled Ryman League visit to Hastings for which a new date has not yet been agreed.
Invicta boss Neil Cugley said of the game against the Championship side: “Charlton are the holders of the Kent Senior Cup and this tie has attracted a fair amount of interest.”
“England are playing next Tuesday, so we are opted for Monday and are hoping for a decent gate.”
