The Invicta Dynamos incredible unbeaten run contiuned on Sunday night as they thrashed Bracknell Hornets 8-2 in Gillingham.
Kevin Parrish’s side were at their clinical best as they cruised past their opponents to make it eleven games without defeat.
Without the services of forward Andy Smith who is away on his honeymoon, Parrish called up veteran Grant Baxter and sixteen year old Jake Luton from the Invicta Mustangs for the game.
It was an inspired move by the Dynamos coach as it was the impressive Luton that opened the scoring in the 12th minute, beating former Mos netminder David Wride at his near post.
The Dynamos were to go into the first break leading 2-0 after captain Anthony Leon struck the first of his three of the night.
A tight second period saw just the one goal for the Dynamos with Arran Strawson getting himself on the scoresheet.
However, the Kent side breezed past their opponents in the final twenty minutes, adding another five goals.
A brisk opening five minutes to the third period saw Danny Hammond score, Leone grab his second of the night and Nicky Lewis get amongst the scoring.
Import Juraj Huska was to made it 7-0 in the 51st minute and despite Bracknell getting two back, Leone capped off a fine individual performance to seal the 8-2 win with just under three minutes left on the clock.
A late injury to Strawson caused alarm, but the D man confirmed he should be fine to face London Raiders away and Wightlink Raiders at home next weekend.
