Dover’s Jake Dixon is back on track this weekend as the Moto2 World Championship heads to Silverstone for the British GP and Jake’s home round.

He goes into the weekend on the back of a good result in Germany having finished in second place on the podium in what was the last round before the annual summer break.

After what has been a difficult start to the year, Dixon has managed to turn things around and has been on the podium twice, which has seen him move into the top ten in the standings.

At Silverstone, he will be looking to get back on the podium, something he already achieved on that track in 2022 in front of his friends, family and army of fans.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Dixon said: “I am looking forward to race at home. I face this week with a totally different mentality than in 2023.

“The home GP is generally a stressful week, but I am going to try to focus one hundred percent on what happens on the track and on being able to complete a great weekend.”
