Two teams experiencing different runs of form meet on Saturday afternoon when Holmesdale take on Rusthall in the SCEFL Premier Division at Oakley Road.

Dale’s scheduled game at Sutton Athletic was postponed on Wednesday night, but last week Andy Constable’s team lost 2-1 at Glebe, Lewis Heywood-Oriogun with The Dalers goal. The loss left Holmesdale eleventh in the table with 36 points from 28 league games played, having lost their last four matches.
Rusthall make the journey across Kent to Bromley Common sitting in fifth place, just inside the play off spots, with 44 points from 26 matches, last weekend The Rustics game was also called off, but on Wednesday night they drew 1-1 away at Glebe, Charlie Clover with a first half goal, before the home side equalised just after the break. Jimmy Anderson’s side have won ten of their last twelve games in all competitions.
When the sides met in the reverse fixture at Jockey Farm in October, Rusthall won 2-0 thanks to goals from Clover and Kalani Barton. They did also meet there in the Challenge Cup in January, the match ending 0-0, with Holmesdale winning 6-5 on penalties and this one could be equally as close.
The Rustics will be looking to maintain their play off challenge, while Dale are looking to get back to winning ways and move back up the table.
Entrance for the game at Oakley Road BR2 is £8 for adults and £5 for concessions. Kick off is at 3pm.
