Holmesdale return to SCEFL Premier Division action on Wednesday night when they entertain Welling Town at Oakley Road.
Dale go into the game sitting in eighth place with seven points from six matches, while Welling sit one place lower with the same points total from the same number of league games.
Lee Roots’ Holmesdale drew 1-1 away at Punjab United in their last match, Emliano Lika equalising late on. While Town lost 3-0 at home to Erith Town, having beaten Whitstable Town 3-1 away the previous weekend.
Kevin Oaks’ side have won two, drawn one and lost three of their opening league fixtures as they get used to playing their home games at Chatham Town this campaign.
Holmesdale are in their second season following promotion and will be looking to build on an excellent first campaign back in Step 5.
Having drawn four of their first six league matches this time round, The Dalers will be hoping to convert more of these hard earned single points into wins.
When the teams met last season Holmesdale completed the double over Welling Town winning 4-0 at home in the October and 1-0 away in April 2022 courtesy of a Rory Ward goal.
The game looks set to be a close fought, entertaining encounter, with both teams looking to push on from solid starts.
Kick off at Oakley Road in Bromley Common is 7:45pm, entrance is £8 for adults & £5 for concessions.
