Holmesdale take on promotion chasing Faversham Town in the SCEFL Premier Division at Oakley Road on Tuesday night.
Faversham go into the game sitting in fourth place with 63 points from 32 matches played, seven points behind leaders Glebe with two games in hand.
Tommy Warrilow’s Town have won their last three league games, most recently a 3-2 win away at Erith Town on Saturday, which kept them in the hunt for the title and well placed for the play offs.
Billy Bennett & Billy Bingham scoring, with Jake McIntyre notching a last minute winner.
Holmesdale have had a tough run of results recently, losing three in a row before they secured a point on Saturday with a 1-1 away at Bearsted, Wale Odedoyin scoring for Andy Constable’s team on the hour before The Bears equalised ten minutes from time.
The draw left Dale in fourteenth with 33 points from 30 games played and they will be hoping to build on that result going into the last ten matches of their campaign.
When the sides met at Salters Lane in February, Faversham won 6-1. Stefan Payne & Sam Hasler both with two goals, while Warren Mfula & Billy Bennett added the others, Theo McKenzie scoring the only goal for The Dalers.
With the title race looking set to go to the wire, this match will be another interesting instalment in an entertaining SCEFL season, with Holmesdale playing their part having Corinthian & Erith Town in their next two fixtures.
Entrance for the game is £8 for adults and £5 for concessions, kick off is 7:45pm.
