Holmesdale take on table topping Erith & Belvedere at Oakley Road in the SCEFL Premier Division on Saturday afternoon.
Lee Root’s side drew 0-0 with second place Stansfeld on Wednesday night at Oakley Road, playing with ten men for over half an hour after Fred Obasa was sent off for two yellow cards.
This was Dale’s fifth draw of the league campaign so far and leaves them in ninth place with eleven points from nine games.
Erith & Belvedere are top of the table having won all seven of their league games so far, picking up twenty one points in the process.
The Deres make the short trip over from Park View Road on the back of a 3-1 away win at Fisher on Tuesday night with two goals from Nathan Palmer and one from Danny Lear all in the first half.
The club are currently in their centenary year and manager Tony Beckingham has put together a strong side who have made a superb start to the campaign.
Beckingham previously managed Holmesdale and his Assistant Andy Constable was scoring goals for Dale right up until the end of last season, so the sides will be very familiar with each other, also fielding players who have represented both clubs.
Last season Erith & Belvedere won their home game 2-1 in November, while the game at Oakley Road in April ended 1-1.
This game looks set to be equally as close with Holmesdale looking to turn draws into wins and The Deres hoping to extend their victorious run.
Entrance for the game is £8 for adults and £5 for concessions, £2 for a printed programme, kick off 3pm.
