Blair won the Kent Invicta League and as from Saturday morning they were told win it and you will be promoted.
Paul Piggott is relieved to get over the line with two games to go, they can now go out and enjoy themselves.
The party began as soon as the final whistle went and Paul stated that everyone at the club from Chairman to the Tea lady were ecstatic as last season they were gutted that they did not get promotion.
He also stated that the spirit in the club was high and this was one of the reasons that players stayed at the club rather than be enticed to other clubs who offered money.
The example he gave was Rob Denness ad James McDonald who could have left after last season but decided to stay on and showed their loyalty to the club. Other players could have gone as well but stayed loyal to Paul.
Paul also stated his gratitude to all the volunteers who helped get the ground up to scratch.
Paul also stated that next season would be a season to stabilise themselves as a Southern Counties League club and not just go in to survive.
Another bit of history will be made as they have entered the F A Vase.
Paul also stated that he was very proud of what his team has done this season especially getting to the Kent Senior Cup final which everyone involved were gutted to lose, but their record in the competition was good as they have won it once, losing Semi-Finalists & losing finalists.
The future is good and the ground is in good shape with a lovely stand and floodlights.
