Former professional footballer Justin Channing is now making his mark with a golf club in his hand.

Fifty-year-old Justin, who made over 250 League appearances as a defender of midfielder during his football career which took in spells with Bristol Rovers, QPR and Leyton Orient, is a member of Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club where in Sunday’s Stableford competition he scored a “hole in one” at the par-three 14^th.

And the “ace” helped Justin, who plays off a six handicap, to win the Division 1 section of the competition with 42 points.
