Holcombe have learned their 2025 Super 6s Premier Division fixtures with both their Men’s and Women’s first teams set to compete in the Premier Division.
Holcombe are one of just two clubs in the country to support Premier Division first teams for both indoor and outdoor hockey for both genders, along with East Grinstead.
Holcombe’s men will place all of their fixtures at Whitgift School, Croydon while the Women’s Premier Division will take place at Repton School.
The top four teams in both divisions after the eight pool matches – split over two weekends – will qualify for Super 6s Finals Day at Derby Arena on Sunday, 26 January, 2025 while the bottom two in each division are relegated to Division One.
Clubs are allowed to sign up to two external players for their indoor campaigns.
Kwan Browne’s side, boasting last season’s Division One top-scorer Teague Marcano, kick off their campaign on Saturday, 4 January against Hampstead & Westminster with two further matches against Southgate and East Grinstead respectively on day one.
Reigning champions Old Georgians are the first opponents of day two (Sunday, 5 January) with a match against Team Bath Buccaneers then rounding off the first weekend.
The following Saturday (11 January), Holcs face another three fixtures as they take on Sevenoaks, Canterbury and Wimbledon.
Holcombe last reached Finals Day in 2019 when Surbiton beat them in the final at the Copper Box Arena.
Holcombe’s women, coached once again by former Men’s 1s captain Richard Lane, split their games across all four days on the same two weekends.
Surbiton, last season’s beaten finalists, are the opponents in Holcs’ curtain-raiser on Saturday, 4 January before a match against hosts Reston.
On Sunday, 5 January, champions East Grinstead are first up before a match against Harleston Magpies.
Weekend two kicks off against Slough (Saturday, 11 January) with Saturday’s second match against Guildford before Holcs face Buckingham and Sutton Coldfield on Sunday, 12 January to finish their pool stage.
Lane’s side were promoted alongside Sutton Coldfield from Division One last season.
