“It’s a track I always have loved. Great mixture of corners, really challenging, and this year will have another challenge as the track has been re-surfaced, so will be different for all of us”
“I made my debut in the S2000 category – and Won my class first time out! I was on the podium with Turkington, Neal and Shedden, (see photo below) and it was incredible, but I felt very much at home. Now I feel ready to regularly challenge at the front every weekend” Hill’s Trade Price Cars Racing Audi S3 has been in the points in 6 of the 9 races so far, with him now 4th in the Independants Category, with the team also 4th in their Teams championship. “I am loving being part of this team! On and off track it’s a fantastic group of people, and the car is just getting stronger. We have some tracks coming up I think we will suit really well, and hopefully Croft will be one of those. I am hugely grateful to Dan (Kirby) and Shaun (Hollamby) for the faith they’ve shown in me, I think we are moving forwards together really well. The 30-car Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship grid will hit the track for free practice on Saturday (15th) morning, with qualifying at 3.05pm – shown live on line at itv.com/btcc – with all three races LIVE on ITV4HD on Sunday 16th – race one at 12.05pm – race two at 2.40pm – race three at 5.05pm – plus a full package of support races including Trade Price Car’s own Dan Kirby in action in the Ginetta GT4 supercup. “Both Dan and I have been on the podium this year – I am sure we can both challenge for more of the same” “Also since the last BTCC race at Thruxton I have been racing in Masters Historic at Brands with Rob Fenn – and we Won overall in the 65 Mustang, and Won our class and finished 2nd overall in the Lotus Elan 26R – so I am getting into this podium thing!” Picture supplied by PSP Images. |
