They take on Bromley Ladies at Sevenoaks Town’s Greatness Park ground with kick off at 7:45 pm, the scene of their triumph last term over Parkwood Rangers.

In their inaugural season last term Herne Bay FC Ladies accomplished a remarkably treble winning the SECWFL Kent Division , the Divisional League Cup and The KCFA Women’s Plate which, of course, they are looking to retain in this season’s final against Bromley Ladies.

In this second season in existence, Herne Bay FC Ladies play their league football in the SECWFL Division One (East) and are again in the hunt for a possible treble of trophies.

Wednesday’s Plate Final is the first on the list but they are also in the Final of the SECWFL League Cup where they will play SECWFL Premier Division side Bexhill United. Bay are also challenging strongly for the League title and reached the semi final of the Ryman Women’s Cup where they went out to FA Premier (South) side Gillingham Ladies.

Team Manager, Anthony Deer says, “Last season, our first in competitive football, was fantastic. This season has been even better as the Ladies go from strength to strength. I am blessed with a terrific group of players with some exceptional additions to the squad this season.”

“The Ladies give their best all the time and are a strong collective unit. It’s a real pleasure to manage this squad.”

Herne Bay Ladies are an integral part of Herne Bay Football Club, now with ‘Club in the Community’ status. With promotion to the next step in Women’s Football applied for, the future is looking bright for the Ladies team at Winch’s Field and the club is proud of what they have already achieved and looks forward to the years ahead as the team makes its way in an increasingly popular branch of this ‘beautiful game.’
