Nathan Heathcote heads to Croft Circuit for the final round of the Swift Rallycross Championship season this weekend.
He will be looking to return to the form that saw him finish on the podium when they were at the circuit in March for the first round of the season.
That race weekend he only just finished behind the current leaders of the championship and fellow Kent drivers Tristan Ovenden and Darren Scott.
Heathcote heads into the final round in eighth place in the championship and looking to secure a top five finish to his first full season. He is well placed to do just that as he is in a bunch of five drivers with only 20 points separating them. No mean feat considering that Heathcote missed the second visit to Pembrey for round six.
All in all Heathcotes first full season has to be looked at as a solid stepping stone and will place him amongst the front of the contenders for the title in 2016.
Speaking ahead of the final round of the season, he said: “Really looking forward to the last round of the championship, hopefully put everything I’ve learnt over this season to get another podium finish at this track”
