There are reports that both Huddersfield and Brighton will make a move in the summer to sign Charlton Athletic’s Danny Haynes.

Haynes has scored six goals in his nine starts and six substitute appearances this season. He joined the Addicks from Barnsley last January and penned a deal that will expire in the summer.

Haynes’ electric pace makes him a potent threat, particularly when used in a central striking role.

The problem is Haynes’ career has been frustrated by hamstring problems and this will be taken into account when contract negotiations take place.

Danny is happy at The Valley and the Addicks will be keen to retain his services.
