Goalkeeper Tom Hadler will stay with Gillingham for a further year after putting pen to paper on a new contract.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper made his professional debut for the Gills during the 2017/18 season, that coming at home to Blackpool in April. However he also enjoyed a productive loan spell at Gloucester City at the start of the campaign, returning to Kent in January.
After signing his new deal Tom told the club website: “Certainly last year was a good one for me in terms of milestones, I came back from my loan having done well and then got my debut.
“I’ve just come back from holiday, it’s all sorted now and I’m raring to go.”
Manager Steve Lovell said: “I’m pleased that we are keeping Tom on for another year. There is no doubt he has made real progress in the last 12 months and I’m sure he will push on even further during the 2018/19 season.”
