Eleventh placed Greenwich Borough take on eight placed Canterbury City in the Southern Counties Eastern League at Princes Park, Dartford on Wednesday night aiming to make up one of their many games in hand on the teams above them.
Despite having one eye on the FA Vase tie against St Austell on Saturday Ian Jenkins’ men will know that if an unlikely promotion bid is to be then they can’t afford to be distracted and drop league points.
Having had superb runs in both FA knock out competitions Borough still have a daunting 23 league games to play this season, plus at least one (and hopefully more) FA Vase ties.
