Ebbsfleet United have been boosted by the news that striker Matt Godden has returned to Stonebridge Road on loan until the end of the season.
The 21 year old striker spent a month on loan with Fleet before Christmas, scoring three goals in his four game spell before being recalled by Scunthorpe United.
Godden went on to make just three appearances for the League One club upon his return with his last being against Crewe at the start of February.
However, with Josh Scott having ended his loan spell at Ebbsfleet United and returned to Dagenham & Redbridge, Fleet boss Liam Daish has looked to bolster his striking options by bringing Godden back.
Godden will go straight into Ebbsfleet United’s squad to face Newport County at Stonebridge Road on Saturday afternoon.
