Andy Hessenthaler, Nicky Southall and Ian Cox were all part of the England squad that won the Seniors World Cup at the weekend.
The trio of former Gillingham players took part in the one week tournament in Thailand and came away with the coveted prize as England retained the trophy.
Former Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler, current Maidstone United Assistant Manager, Nicky Southall and former Whitstable Town boss and Gillingham community coach Ian Cox lifted the trophy as England beat hosts Thailand 1-0 in the final.
Their path to the final began with a 6-0 win against Taiwan before beating USA 2-0 with Southall on target along with former Wycombe Wanderers star Gareth Ainsworth.
Despite losing their final group game 2-1 to Iran, England still progressed to the semi-finals where they comfortably beat Scotland 3-0.
Saturday’s 1-0 win against the hosts saw the England side come back home with the trophy with Hessenthaler, Southall and Cox having done Kent proud.
