Gillingham manager Neil Harris has added to his defensive options with the signing of former Coventry City, West Ham United, and Charlton Athletic left-back, Lewis Page.
The 26-year-old has agreed a short-term deal with the Gills having recently left Mansfield Town.
Page, who came through the youth ranks at West Ham United, made his professional debut for the Hammers in a Europa League tie against FC Lusitans in July 2015, playing the full 90 minutes before featuring in the away leg a week later.
His league debut came while on loan with Cambridge during the 2015/16 season, starting against AFC Wimbledon, before making a further five appearances for the Amber Army.
In August 2016 Page was on the move, this time to Coventry City where he played 28 games prior to a permanent switch to Charlton Athletic, signing a two-and-a-half year deal early in 2017.
In early 2020 the defender signed for Exeter, making 35 appearances before agreeing a deal with Harrogate Town a year later. He played the same amount of games while with Harrogate between July 2021 and November 2022 before signing for Mansfield on an initial-one month deal.
He has begun training with the Gills first-team and is available for selection and could make his debut for the side in their League Two clash at Harrogate on Saturday.
