Gillingham have strengthened their squad with the signing of midfielder Ben Pringle.
The midfielder who can play either in the middle or down the left, signed for Steve Evans’ side on Wednesday lunchtime and goes straight into the squad to travel to Merseyside for the weekend League game with Tranmere Rovers.
Pringle has played under the Gills boss previously at Rotherham United and was part of the Yorkshire sides promotion winning side of 2014, and his performances earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Year.
From Rotherham, Pringle signed for Fulham and then Preston in 2016 but spent last season on loan at Oldham Athletic, Grimsby Town and ironically Saturday’s opponents, Tranmere.
Pringle has signed a deal until the end of the season with an option for a second year.
