Gillingham Ladies are just ninety minutes away from claiming the league title and with it an historic treble.

They entertain Coventry Ladies at Chatham Town’s ground on Sunday afternoon knowing that a win or a draw will secure them the Women’s Southern Premiership.

Starting the game four points clear at the top of the league and crucially ahead of Sunday’s opponents who have a game in hand, Gills Ladies have their destiny in their own hands.

A large crowd is expected for their final game of the season with manager James Marrs set to field his strongest possible line up.

“We know we have got ninety minutes between us and the league title and we will go out there and give it our best shot.”

“The girls have shown how capable they are of getting the three points and there will be no suggestion we will be playing for a draw.” said the Gillingham Ladies manager.

Having lost just three times in the league all season and with the Ryman Women’s Cup and Kent Women’s Cup already in the bag, fans will come to cheer on a Ladies side that stand on the brink of success.

Kick off is at 2pm with entry just £3 and under 16’s go free.
