The Gills go into the game in the bottom four, while Rotherham are in one of the automatic promotion places.
A win for the hosts could seal safety, while a win for the Millers would guarantee an immediate return to the Championship. They can still also claim the league title, however this will depend on Wigan Athletic’s result at Shrewsbury Town.
Fleetwood Town are away at Bolton Wanderers, while Morecambe are at home to Sunderland.
There is no change to the kick-off time, this remains at 12:30pm.
All fixtures in the division kick off at the same time.
So, come 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon, Gillingham fans will know which league their team will be playing in next season.
Whether in the ground, sat at home or in the pub watching the game on TV, there is sure to be a lot of interest in the future of the club.
A pivotal moment in the club’s history, get relegated and a section of the fanbase is set to turn their attention to chairman Paul Scally’s rein in charge once again.
