Gillingham’s FA Cup Second Round replay at Carlisle United scheduled for Tuesday night has been postponed.

The game was in some doubt after snow in the Cumbria area, but freezing temperatures overnight meant the match was called off as soon as possible to prevent players and fans from travelling.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Priestfield on Saturday 2nd December, forcing the replay at Brunton Park.

The winner of the replay will go on to face Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the Third Round with the date for the Second Round replay to now be decided between the two clubs and the FA.
