The date for Gillingham’s Emirates FA Cup first round replay against Sunderland has now been confirmed.
The game will take place at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on the initially scheduled date of Tuesday November 19, kick-off at 7.45pm.
The club have apologised for the delay in announcing the date to supporters, however this was beyond the club’s control and they have been waiting for the FA to officially confirm the details.
The clubs drew in the first game at the Stadium of Light; Olly Lee finding the net for Gills in a 1-1 draw.
Now the date has been confirmed, Gills fans can now purchase their tickets ahead of the tie, with the winners set to play AFC Wimbledon or Doncaster Rovers at home in the second round.
For this first round replay, Gordon Road blocks A, B and C will be the only blocks open to home fans (Medway Stand and Rainham End both open). Gills supporters who are season ticket holders in Gordon Road blocks D-J will, on this occasion, have to relocate to other areas of the stadium, due to the decision being made to close the Brian Moore Stand.
All season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until 24 hours prior to kick-off, after which time they will be placed on general sale.
Prices for the tie are:
Adults – £15
Concessions – £10
Under 18’s – £5
