Gillingham will travel to east London to face Leyton Orient in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 30^th.

The fixture will take place at Orient’s Matchroom Stadium and falls one week before the start of the Sky Bet League One season.

Tickets for the match (3pm kick-off) are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for under-18s and £3 for under-11s, and are available on the day at the stadium.

The O’s, who finished this season eighth in League Two, ended the campaign with former Gill Andy Hessenthaler as caretaker manager.

Cody McDonald’s double was not enough for the Gills in the last meeting between the two sides at the Matchroom, as Orient came back from 3-1 down in April 2015’s League One fixture to draw 3-3.

Today’s announcement follows last Saturday’s confirmation of a friendly match away at Dartford on July 26^th.
