Gillingham are without captain Gabriel Zakuani for a crucial League One match, at home to Scunthorpe United, after being sidelined for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
Gills come into the game 21st in League One, sitting inside the relegation after a 4-1 defeat to Barnsley last weekend.
Ricky Holmes shouldn’t be too far away from making his debut with his recovery from a back issue almost finished.
With one fully fit recognised centre back, Steve Lovell has a big choice to make in who’s going to fill the void left by Gabriel Zakuani’s and Alex Lacey’s injuries. It could be that Connor Ogilvie slips into the centre and either Barry Fuller or Bradley Garmston are on the left.
Billy Bingham continues to be sidelined with an ankle injury while Alex Lacey also misses out due to injury. Gabriel Zakuani is also missing out due to ankle ligament injuries sustained in the 4-1 defeat to Barnsley while colliding with Kieffer Moore.
Scunthorpe United come into this game 13th in the league after a busy January transfer window had changed their fortunes. Kevin Van Vern looks set to lead the line as the Irons look for their 7th win in 9 since Christmas.
A win for the Gills could see them move up to as high as 16th while Scunthorpe could possibly sneak into the top half of the table.
Kick off at The Medway Priestfield Stadium is at 3pm
