Gillingham will assess Scott Wagstaff ahead of the visit of League One strugglers AFC Wimbledon to Priestfield on Saturday.
Midfielder Wagstaff missed the draw against Oxford United on Boxing Day as he recovered from a hamstring injury.
Striker Conor Wilkinson staked his claim for a starting place after coming off the bench to net a late equaliser.
Defender Bradley Garmston could be recalled after not being included in the past two matchday squads but Billy Bingham remains sidelined as the midfielder continues his rehabilitation from a broken ankle.
Meanwhile, Gillingham have recalled striker Liam Nash from his loan spell at Leatherhead.
The 21-year-old striker, who signed for Gills in the summer on a two-year deal, agreed a one-month loan spell with the Bostik Premier side on November 8, which was extended for a further month on December 11.
However, the forward has been called back to Priestfield by manager Steve Lovell and is available for selection ahead of Saturday’s fixture.
While at Fetcham Grove Nash scored five times in nine appearances.
Harry Forrester and Kwesi Appiah remain doubts for AFC Wimbledon.
Forrester was left out of Neal Ardley’s side for the loss to Portsmouth because of a thigh strain sustained in training on Christmas Eve.
Ardley continues to assess the fitness of Appiah, who is close to returning following a hamstring injury.
He will be given as much time as possible to prove he is fit enough to feature against the Gills.
