Gillingham fans can start planning the season ahead after the fixtures for the 2025/26 League Two campaign were released.

The Gills will start their new season away to Accrington Stanley on Saturday 2nd August.
The club’s first home league fixture will take place a week later, on August 9th, when Walsall visit MEMS Priestfield Stadium. The Gills welcome Cambridge United on Boxing Day, with a trip to Swindon Town following on New Year’s Day.
On Good Friday they take on Walsall in the reverse fixture, with Accrington visiting on Easter Monday.
Gillingham visit Barnet for their final away fixture on April 25th, with Shrewsbury Town making the journey to ME7 for their final home game on Saturday May 2nd.
This could be a pivotal fixture for Gareth Ainsworth with the Gillingham manager set to welcome his former side to Priestfield.
Local clashes against Bromley will take place on Saturday 6th September with the first game at Hayes Lane and the return fixture at Priestfield will take place on Saturday 31st January 2026.
In the Vertu Trophy, Gillingham are in Group G of the southern section with Wycombe Wanderers and Colchester United. An invited Premier League U21 side will be added on Thursday afternoon.
Gillingham will also find out their opponents in the opening round of the Carabao Cup on Thursday.
