Gillingham have confirmed that four players have been offered new contracts for the 2017/18 Sky Bet League One season.
Greg Cundle, Elliott List, Cody McDonald and Josh Parker are those who have been approached with new deals at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium by Head Coach, Adrian Pennock and Director of Football, Peter Taylor.
The club have also announced that Mitch Dickenson, Rory Donnelly, Chris Herd, Ryan Jackson, Ollie Muldoon, Henry Newcombe, Emmanuel Osadebe and Zesh Rehman will all be released upon the expiration of their contracts.
Furthermore, goalkeeper Stuart Nelson and midfielder Billy Knott have been placed on the transfer list despite still being under contract.
The four that have been offered new deals must now decide whether they wish to stay with The Gills whilst Nelson and Knott are now free to talk to other clubs.
Knott finished last season on loan with Lincoln City and he may elect to seal a deal with the newly promoted League Two side.
Nelson’s transfer listing comes as a slight surprise having been the club’s number one for a number of seasons.
